Need a Post-it?

Mercredi nous avions rdv à Stout pour prendre un verre avec des amis. Moi qui aime bien marcher je me suis laissée tenter par une descente de mon bureau (5th et 53ème rue) jusqu'à la 33ème entre 6ème et 7ème avenue.
J'en ai profité pour faire un détour par Park Ave et par Grand Central car je voulais voir s'il y avait quelque chose déjà en place pour les piscines-container. Malheureusement il n'y avait aucune trace de piscine. Sauf qu'en passant par la gare de Grand Central (c'est en effet compliqué de continuer toujours tout droit sur Park quand on arrive au niveau de la 44ème), je suis tombée sur cette exposition de Post-It qui avait commencée la veille.

Wednesday, we were meeting with a few friends for a drink at Stout and I felt like taking a walk. My office is on 5th and 53rd and I wanted to take a look at the dumpster pools on Park. Unfortunately nothing was there but as I walked inside Grand Central (it is indeed complicated to continue on Park once you get to MetLife/Grand Central) and I found this Post-it Exhibition that started the day before.
Crap I don't have my camera... I'll have to do it with the Blackberry...or you can take a look at the photo album on Facebook.

L'exhibition contient le plus grand panneau de Post-it multicolores et célèbre le 30ème anniversaire de la marque Post-it inventée par 3M. Malheureusement elle se termine aujourd'hui alors pour les curieux c'est le moment d'y aller!

This exhibition has the world's largest artistic billboard made of multi-colored Post-it super sticky notes. It celebrates the 30th anniversary of the invention of the Post-it Brand from 3M.

Nous avons pu voir notre ami Louis que nous n'avions pas vu depuis... au moins un an je pense et on en a profité pour lui offrir l'équipement du Yankee pour son petit bout. Après un bon BBQ Coréen avec des serveuses un peu chiantse (nous ne rentrerons pas dans les détails) Choup et moi sommes rentrés.
Ce soir c'est direction l'Upstate pour l'anniversaire d'un ami et demain ce sera session shopping cadeaux pour notre passage en France en Septembre.

This evening, we met with Louis who was in the States for business and it was good to see him after almost a year. We finally got to offer him the Yankee equipment for his little boy and I can't wait to receive the picture! After a great Korean BBQ with some pain-in-the-ass waitresses (we will not give details), Choup and I went back home.
Tonight we are heading Upstate for a friend's birthday and tomorrow we'll go shopping for the presents we want to get for our trip to France in September.

Edit 1: Je suis tête en l'air!!! Ça se voit que c'est Vendredi hihihi! Enfin bref, je voulais rajouter cette petite vidéo que j'aime beaucoup et qui narre les aventures d'un garçon et d'une fille qui cherchent à exprimer leur amour avec des.... vous devinez? Des Post-it bien sûr!

Edit 1: I forgot! It's Friday and my mind is already on a weekend mode or what!?! Anyway, I wanted to add this short video that I really like which is about a boy and a girl who are trying to express their love with... can you guess? Post-it of course!
