Vivi à NY

Pierrot est rentré et nous avons repris le chemin de la maison. Avant la maison, nous avons fait un stop par le supermarché et sommes rentrés avec 3 ptits compagnons ;-)

Pierrot took off so we went back home after a stop by the grocery store where we found 3 little friends to bring back home with us.

Après une bonne petite soirée à jouer aux cartes et "sucer" homard nous sommes allés au dodo pour nous préparer à la journée suivante. Dimanche nous sommes allés à Manhattan où nous avons tenté un picnic rapide avant de fuire le parc, pour cause de pluie (hmmm averse plutôt...) et avons rejoint Boris au bar pour voir la fin du match de la Coupe du Monde.

After a good evening playing cards and "sucking" lobster we went to bed. On the following day, we went to Manhattan and headed to Central Park for a picnic. This was a quick stop as we had to get out of the park due to the rain. We then met Boris at a bar to watch the end of the Soccer World Cup game.

Gentlemen's club

Nous sommes ensuite descendus sur la 5ème Avenue où nous avons encore pu faire quelques belles photos avec le nouvel appareil de Choup. Nous avons laissé Boris et avons marché tranquillou jusqu'à Penn pour reprendre notre train.
Nous sommes rentrés avec mes 4 nouveaux bouquins (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Kite Runner, The Time Traveler's Wife and Deal Breaker). Le premier j'en ai deux autres qui m'attendent puisque ça fait partie d'une trilogie - Millenium - le second et troisième j'ai vu les films et je pense que les bouquins me plairont plus. Le dernier, ba c'est le premier où on découvre Myron Bolitar, ce par quoi j'aurai dû commencer quand j'ai commencé à lire Harlan Coben que j'aime beaucoup. Bref, j'ai de quoi faire pendant mes aller-retour Montclair-New York.

We then walked down on 5th Avenue where we shot some new great pictures with Choup's great new camera. We left Boris head to Grand Central and then we kept walking down to Penn Station to get on our train back home. We left with my new books (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Kite Runner, The Time Traveler's Wife and Deal Breaker). The first one I know is part of a trilogy called The Millenium, the second and third, I saw the movies but I am sure I'll love the books better. The last (but not least) is the first book where Myron Bolitar's adventures start but I already read 2 books from Harlan Coben so I am going backward to start from the beginning now since I love this writer. I'll have enough to read for a while on my round-trips from Montclair to NY.

Cette semaine, Choup était absent, long et épuisant déplacement: EWR-SLC, SLC-AUS, AUS-ALB puis une descente d'Albany à Newark aéroport où nous l'avons récupéré après avoir déposé Vivi qui rentrait à Paris, ma soeur  étant arrivée la veille avec un ptit peu de retard. Et oui c'est compliqué à suivre, qui est là, pas là... Toujours est-il que nous sommes rentrés tous les 3, avec ma ptite soeur qui sera avec nous jusqu'au 17 Juillet, et avons fait une ptite soirée Fajitas bien sympathique. La suite au prochain épisode!

This week, Choup was away on a long and exhausting business trip: EWR-SLC, SLC-AUS, AUS-ALB and then drove from Albany to Newark Airport where we picked him up after dropping Vivi off as she was going back to Paris, with my sister who arrived the day before. Complicated indeed, who's there, who's leaving, arriving... Still we came back home, the 3 of us, with my sister who's here until July 17th, and we had a good fajitas night. More on Christy's trip next time!
