The Empire State Building

While Choup was in Germany last week, Christy and I went to the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar to enjoy a pear juice (for the kids) and a beer.

Pendant l'absence de Choup qui était en Allemagne la semaine dernière, Christy et moi sommes allées au 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar et avons profité de la vue en sirotant nos boissons rafraîchissantes.

Then we walked up 10 blocks and stopped by a shop where they were selling 40 postcards for 99cts ($1.08 with tax), Christy picked her cards and I added 10 cards for me to help her get to the 40 cards!

Ensuite nous avons remonté 10 blocks et nous sommes arrêtées à un gift shop où ils vendaient 40 cartes postales pour 99cts ($1.08 avec tax), profitant de la bonne affaire, Christy a choisi ses cartes et je l'ai aidée en prenant 10 cartes pour moi histoire d'arriver au compte plus rapidement ;-)

We went up to the Empire State Building where the lines were shorts but not if you had to buy tickets though, which is why I bought mine online before, Christy had her City Pass. Once up there, it was a fight for the best spot, people are so annoying at the Empire State, it makes you want to kick them out! The view is great but having that many people, you don't enjoy it... anyway we took good pictures so it was worth fighting for good spots.

Nous sommes ensuite allées à l'Empire State Building où la queue n'était pas vraiment longue, sauf pour les gens qui devaient acheter leurs billets donc il vaut mieux acheter ses billets en ligne ou avoir un City Pass pour monter plus rapidement. Une fois là haut, il a fallu jouer des coudes pour trouver le meilleur spot pour prendre des photos. Les gens sont vraiment casses-c*&^$ là haut, contrairement au Rockfeller où il y a vraiment moins de monde et plus de facilité pour prendre des photos... Enfin la vue était superbe malgrès les gens... les photos valaient la peine de se battre.
