Last week of September we went out to Washington, DC to attend Mo's wedding, along with Ed and Glo. After several hours of driving and traffic, we finally got to the hotel and rushed to the church where the ceremony was taking place! It all came a bit late due to the rain and people being delayed on their way through, but we got to see the bride and groom all dressed up and ready to exchange their vows!
After the ceremony we headed back to the hotel and got some appetizers at the nearby steakhouse. Since the ceremony was delayed, the reception got to be pushed back as well. We enjoyed the local food and music and went back to the hotel to get some well deserved rest.The next day, we had a big hearty breakfast at the hotel and drove back home to Jersey...
La dernière semaine de septembre nous a amené à Washington, DC pour le mariage de Mo, avec Ed et Glo. Après plusieurs heures de route et de traffic terrible, nous arrivons enfin à l'hôtel pour en repartir aussitôt! Pensant arriver en retard, nous nous apercevons qu'une grande partie des invités ne sont pas la à cause de la pluie qui s'est abattue sur la région... Heureusement donc, nous avons pu voir arriver les mariés et les entendre échanger leurs voeux!
La cérémonie terminée, nous revenons à l'hôtel pour récupérer un peu et manger quelques amuse-gueules avant d'enchainer la cérémonie. Au menu donc spécialités mais aussi la musique locale, le tout dans une ambiance bon enfant! Retour à l'hôtel vers minuit pour une nuit de repos bien méritée.. Le lendemain nous reprenons la route après un petit-déjeuner bien costaud, direction la maison...
